Definitely edge out Pretenders (also in the Hopper) as the most pointless Transformer toy ever conceived. Hey kids, Transformers that don't transform BUT HOLY SHIT THEIR LEGS MOVE

Suits just didn't understand what we wanted out of Transformers, man.

Adham Nu'man - 2008-09-30

Guns/Sidekicks secifically designed for your stupid kids to choke and die on them.

chumbucket - 2008-09-30

better applied to happy meals

mouser - 2008-09-30

Why would a fucking robot that can transform into a car care about riding a motorcycle is beyond me.

And if you call that redundant, just compare all the fucking *mon cartoons of today whose only purpose are to sell you spining tops, playing cards or other stupid junk like that.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-09-30

Don't you be dissing Pokemon, dog.

Hooper_X - 2008-10-29

Maybe the motorcycle goes faster than he can as a car?

BillFisto - 2008-09-30

"Who will join me? Who will give up the power to transform to become stronger, faster, more alive?"

I'm oddly torn on how I would answer that question.

BillFisto - 2008-09-30

Screw it. I'll follow you anywhere, Optimus.

Hooper_X - 2008-09-30

Best thing about this commercial: The robot hand with giant ACTION MASTERS fist-ring.

Worst thing about this commercial: I think that's the only fictional appearance ever of that one red dude behind Jazz. His entire characterization, across all Transformers stories, is "Me too!" It sucks to be him.

Hooper_X - 2008-09-30

Also: the one thing I really liked about Action Masters as a kid was that everyone was the same size. It was always kind of bullshit to me that Blaster and Soundwave were supposed to be enemies, but Blaster was twice as tall. Blaster was so tall he could kick the shit out of the guys that turned into entire cities.

Action Masters meant I could feel better about Soundwave kicking the shit out of Blaster like we all know he's supposed to.

ULTRA PEANUT - 2008-10-01

The 80s ad where blaster is like twice the size of optimus prime (who turns into a fucking truck) is another good example of the scale problems transformers faced

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-09-30

I think they're actually less detailed than the ones that transform.

And some of them are less poseable. So good job there.
