I could be wrong, but is this not a dupe?

Stog - 2008-09-21

Yeah, this is a dupe. I can't say no to Kirby and Snoop, though.

oogaBooga - 2008-09-21

Holy shit, the synchronicity of these two songs.

Whodathunkit

halon - 2008-09-21

This is a dupe and I don't care.

This will also be making its way into tf2.

ProfessorChaos - 2008-09-21

The fact that you can change everything about a song, except the lyrics - and still have it work as though nothing was wrong, is good evidence of the inferiority of rap music.

That said +1 for kirby.

futurebot - 2008-09-21

"the inferiority of rap music"
"+1 for kirby"

Honest Abe - 2008-09-21

i was going to skip voting because it's a dupe, but this comment deserves 5 stars for utter faggotry

Stog - 2008-09-21

Yeah, I'm going to put my vote down just for this comment, too.

"hurp durp you can change the music but not the lyrics and THAT IS WHY RAP IS CRAP oh yeah +1 for kirby"

vissarion - 2008-09-21

mysterycar - 2008-09-21

Billie_Joe_Buttfuck - 2008-09-21

Fuck your uncultured ass.

fourthguy - 2008-09-22

"Uncultured?" I've got nothing against rap, but since when has liking Snoop been a criterion for being cultured?

ProfessorChaos - 2008-09-22

Good music is a totality of all it's parts. To alter most of the parts of the music (notably the rhythm, which is the centerpiece of most rap songs), and chop it up like this simply serves to point out how irrelevant the non-lyrical pieces were in the first place.

Imagine a song that had good lyrics, interesting rhythms, good harmonies, and other things that a skilled musician will place in his work. Then subtract all of those pieces, and leave just the lyrics, while changing everything else. The new song will fall apart without all the other parts to hold it in place.

Knuckles - 2008-09-22

You smug dumb stupid fucking idiot, the lyrics follow the rhythm. The joke here is that the Kirby song and Snoop's song both have similar rhythms. Are you then arguing that all music must be totally different? If so, then please take a hard look at rock music, where 90% of the songs follow the exact same chord progression of Pachelbel's fucking Canon. A piece of music written 328 years ago.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-09-22

That's right, keep talking.

futurebot - 2008-09-24

NO REALLY RAP SUX BECAUSE MY THEORY OF MUSIC +1 FOR KIRBY THO

Hooper_X - 2008-09-21

Dupe, but AMAZING.

Chip - 2008-09-21

I love this. It works so much better than the actual beat from the actual song.

Harveyjames - 2008-09-21

This is why they don't let you DJ at house parties :O

Chip - 2008-09-30

This may be! But at least this version isn't boring.
