I found it hard (well, harder) to watch Brazil after seeing Jonathan Pryce play the Master. He is now typecast as evil incarnate.

Gilliam chose this song because it is completely opposite the mood of the movie. A bold move, it almost works.. almost, thus no 5 stars. A maudlin old song probably would have been better, but if there's one thing you should never do, it's try to second-guess Terry Gilliam.

No amount of dumb trailers and other movies trying to use the tune to the same effect can ruin the greatness of how it was used here.
