I've always thought the things we put on the internet are even more remarkable than the technology itself. Mass use of the internet is still too recent for this to be entirely evident, but we're archiving the thoughts, works, and mere OPINIONS of an enormous segment of the population, which may well be just as available to random people one hundred years from now... I wish this technology had existed when this man was writing, because reading 1934 Facebook pages would be much more intimate than 1934 newspapers, but a lot less creepy than old letters or private diary entries.
Basically what I'm saying is I'm still pissed off that chet deleted most of my posts.
