I remember seeing a guy doing this in Lincoln City, OR ("The Kite Capital of the World!"), he was getting about fifteen foot jumps before coming back in the sand. It looked really fun, but really dangerous. Apparently a couple people have been simply carried away into the sky and dropped on the ground to their deaths in Lincoln City.

Video no longer available.
Everytime we get a tsunami warning here in HI, the surfers always head out hoping to catch the ultimate wave. By the way, you can't surf a tsunami. Apparently, you can't kite surf a hurricane either since this idiot is now in critical condition.

I just watched it like fifty times. It's there. And it's awesome. If you didn't see it, it's probably because of the suck filter on the video. It won't let people who suck watch it. That's too bad for you, sucky.
