Holy shit he's not wearing a headset those are his sideburns

BONUS FACT: in the period when this was made, all record commercials were voiced over by Dan Aykroyd.

The chops are not real, I've seen him live. He may come off as a bit of a novelty act, but he plays a mean guitar. His cover of 'Manic Depression' stands out as one of the best I've ever heard.

Great musician and kickass character. Hank Williams III thinks so too, as he had Unknown's face tattooed on his bicep.

Oh not disputing the music itself at all, just those are some crazy lookin' chops is all.

I wonder in which fantasy land these are "chart toppers".

I'm stupid: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unknown_Hinson

From his chart-topping heart.

I have two vague memories about The Wild, Wild South. One is a skit that included accusations of necrophilia and Unknown Hinson defending himself saying what happens in the privacy of a funeral home was his business (I think). The other is when a local news program tried to manufacture controversy about the show saying that it gave the South a bad image.

Objectively, Squidbillies is a really bad cartoon, but this guy makes it worth watching. I'm thrilled to learn he's has a whole RL character.
