Classic.

-1 for not showing Mr. Burns' awesome submission to the film festival though. He should have won dammit!

Magical Man from Happy-Land - 2008-07-12

Ah, back when the simpsons was watchable. Good times

Hodge - 2008-07-12

Agreed, my estimate is that the Simpsons jumped the shark somewhere around the 1999 season.

mr666 - 2008-07-12

Holy Shit. Are you weepy internet bitches going to stroke your beards and cry about the Simpsons AGAIN?

Cleaner82 - 2008-07-12

I remember the last good Simpsons episode, pretty sure it was in nineteen dickety two. We had to use the word 'dickety' because the Kaiser had stolen our word 'ninety'. I must have chased the rascal for at least dickety miles before I gave up.

Hodge - 2008-07-12

That qualifies as whining? And for the record I don't have a beard. Go back to Gamefaqs.com mr666.

voodoo_pork - 2008-07-12

Are you saying Gamefaqs or Gamefags.com?

Magical Man from Happy-Land - 2008-07-12

hey, Mr. 666.

Fuck you.

KnowFuture - 2008-07-13

The Simpsons began its ascent over the sharks when Phil Hartman died :(

IrishWhiskey - 2009-02-26

The real connoisseurs know it only started getting good around Season 10, episode 4, about 16 minutes in. But continue to bleat away your regurgitated nonsense, pathetic sheep.

Unmerciful Crushing Force - 2008-07-12

I am happy to admit that I have made Boo-urns a part of my regular vocabulary.

Desidiosus - 2008-07-13

You too, huh?

I think The Simpsons nowadays hasn't just jumped one mere shark. It's jumped a nurse shark, a mako, a great white, and a whale shark.

garcet71283 - 2008-07-12

GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!

Every I think about a Simpson's scene, it appears on this bloody site.

RomancingTrain - 2008-07-12

Matt Groening hated this episode and yet he was happy with the movie.

TheDevilsDictionary - 2008-07-12

I give your comment -100 stars for making me think about that shit after watching this.

BornAgainCannibal - 2008-07-13

How odd.

I didn't see the movie yet, but I don't expect to get bricked in the face when I watch it. Theres still a good episode or two every season.

Xenocide - 2008-07-13

That's because the movie was funny. And he only hated this episode because the network forced a crossover with The Critic on him, not because of its content. He didn't like the idea of The Simpsons becoming a cross-promotional tool for Fox's other shows.

lolcoolj - 2008-07-13

I'd rather watch this episode 4 times than that horrible movie again.

Redlof - 2008-07-13

The movie wasn't bad, but it did have some very very very bad moments.

Corman's Inferno - 2008-07-13

The Simpsons Movie needed to be better than Citizen Kane, The Godfather, and Rashomon combined to live up to nearly two decades of anticipation. It ended up being a good, not great, episode of classic Simpsons.

On the plus side, I liked both of the Futurama movies.

zatojones - 2008-07-14

Movie was fun. This is way better though
