My favorite Busby Berkeley movie! I love Ruby Keeler even though she can't sing, dance, or act. Cagney was brilliant though.

Damn the Hollywood production code for neutering American movies; within a year they never could have gotten away with this scene.

I also find Ruby Keeler strangely endearing, and yeah she has a voice like an old lady, and her looks wouldn't turn a lot of heads, but what she's got is charm, and lots of it! and Cagney is positively magnetic in every way.
