This is a Chery Amulet not a Brilliance BS6, why mislabel the video here when it is correct on Youtube? Anyways, the 90's SEAT it's based on probably doesn't do much better.

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2008-06-19

It's actually based on a 1983 VW Golf. And for the record, this is something like a 40mph crash into an offset barrier, so only recently designed cars that have been extensively computer modeled are any good at this.

Don't trust Wiki to be awesomely accurate, bud. The Seat Toledo is just another company in the VW group that receives the trickle down of their older technology.

HURF BLURF DUH - 2008-06-19

Cherry Amulet? Worst name for a car ever. In any language.

Anyway, they should have just named it the Accordion.

Urist - 2008-06-19

What does that have to do with calling this a Brilliance BS6 crash test?

http://www.autoblog.com/2007/09/14/video-the-brilliance-bs6s-3 -star-crash-test/

(actual second test)

Urist - 2008-06-19

(except for that space in "3 -star")

SolRo - 2008-06-19

ohh my god, did you know that cars have different names in different countries?! MY MIND IS BLOWN!

Urist - 2008-06-19

Espcially when it is a different car made by a different company! This is like posting a crash test of a Ford Focus and calling it a Chevy Malibu.

I guess all those asian cars look the same though eh?

Ersatz - 2008-06-19

An hour after watching a Chinese car crash test, I'm ready to watch another one.

CornOnTheCabre - 2008-06-19

It's a "spiritual sequel."

victorm - 2008-06-19

Is it made from balsa wood and elmer's glue?

j lzrd / swift idiot - 2008-06-19

i wish i could make an oragami joke...

Udderdude - 2008-06-19

Guaranteed to leave your rear bumper intact!

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2008-06-19

I guess you should replace 'company' with 'car' for added sense.

Bollocks and stuff.

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2008-06-19

THIS REPLY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ELSE WHERE

jesus shit and stuff

Bebido - 2008-06-19

Just don't crash. Simple enough.

Ersatz - 2008-06-19

Crash protection is counter-revolutionary.

Takes up 30% less space after an accident! Less blocked traffic!
