It's a shame that the story had a few incredibly retarded moments in it. With a production like this, it could have been a really awesome movie. And I really think Jim Carrey could have done a better job at being a creepy bastard. You could tell he was holding back.

And the best of the "movies adapted from a children book" hands down!

I saw this in theaters -- we'd stood up to leave and I was so entranced by this I sat the hell back down and watched the entire sequence.
