Desidiosus
Scritti Politti just seemed to drop off the face of the planet after 1986, didn't they?

Green Gartside is sort of the anti-Rick Astley. Gartside is 6'6'' and sounds eternally 13 years old, Astley weighed 95 lbs and had Barry White's voice. Gartside was a young communist and friend of Derrida and Foucault who was self-directed, Astley was plucked from obscurity by the Stock, Aitken & Waterman writing/production triumvirate.

D: Green Gartside developed debilitating stage fright, but his bedroom recorded "White Bread Black Beer" is very highly regarded.

Lurchi
Probably my favorite of all the 80's one-hit wonders.
