I was hoping that The Smoggies were the good guys and that they just kept beating up the no-good-meddling... whatever they are that are apparently the real heros. OK, maybe beating up is a little severe, but stopping them from saving the planet? That's a show I'd watch.

In retrospect this series probably shaped my world view more than I'd like to admit.
