my favorite youtube comment for this clip:

I bit into a hamburger today and all these baby hamburgers spilled out of it.

then i ate them.

***
I bet that was left by a poetv person.

rustedmutt - 2008-04-22

I would give them an e-hug.

Samisyosam - 2008-04-22

What an awesome way to gain consciousness.

"Welcome to the world. I'm nature."

Crucifried - 2008-04-22

This video kind of sums up the world entirely. Nature survives, and humans stand by gawking and filming it.

revdrew - 2008-04-22

If I was a furry vore fetishist I would totally be turned on by this.

MaulLove - 2008-04-22

I thought I was going to feel bad viewing this (I can be a pussy at times), but it was actually pretty awesome. I love the commentators "How could it do that?" Shit, the hawk made a great choice, he gets some bonus snacks.

5 stars for the thriving fetuses tag.

petep - 2008-04-22

this is, without hyperbole, the worst thing i have ever seen

petep - 2008-04-22

and yes i mean worse than the glamorous kitten killer and that serb-or-whatever getting his throat cut PUT TOGETHER

waxeater - 2008-04-22

This said, I feel good about my choice not to click on the play button.

Frank Rizzo - 2008-04-22

"thats so mean"

wow, I was not let down at all in the "Horrified onlookers offer retarded commentary" department.

btw, this combined with the puss video has completely ruined my hunger for a PB&J. -1 star for that.

mother nature is an uncaring whore.

Blackbetta - 2008-04-22

What's worse, a bunny getting eaten or a hawk starving to death?

MK_Ultra - 2008-04-22

If you're like me (and I hope you are) you watched this video while eating a delicious reuben sandwich.

Caminante Nocturno - 2008-04-22

I don't think that word means what you think it means. And if that hawk could understand English, it would be laughing at you.

NoCode - 2008-04-23

Well, they were kind of thriving. For a minute or two, anyway.

Lurchi - 2008-04-23

What word? I have no problem with nature but it was the comments that made this video. A shame they didn't try to rescue them (and get their eyes pecked out).

wtf japan - 2008-04-23

So fucking awesome. A portent from the gods.

Cap'n Profan!ty - 2008-04-23

I laugh at horrified people who think rabbits were designed for something other than being killed and eaten and (for that reason) fucking each other a lot.

"If they catch you, they will kill you. But first, they must catch you." Caught, motherfucker.

NoCode - 2008-04-23

lol.

NoCode - 2008-04-23

I volunteer with the raptors at the zoo, and we see them do all kinds of crazy shit on par with this. And that's in captivity!

Nature is a many-splendored thing.

NoCode - 2008-04-23

The really bad part is that I doubt the hawk will eat the bunny babies. They don't seem to like anything that comes from the lower abdomen of the prey too well. Most of them leave that stuff strung all over the place unless they're starving. Reproductive organs and intestines are iiiiickyyyy.

rustedmutt - 2008-04-23

I wondered about that...since so many other predators seem to eat the innards first. Hooray for bird-nerds!

NoCode - 2008-04-23

Yeah. One of my less pleasant jobs is cleaning up the leftover food in each mew from the previous night's feeding. Sometimes it looks like the birds had a party and used intestines and uteruses for decorations. They do love the "upper abdomen" stuff, though (liver, heart, lungs, stomach) and usually eat that first. I think probably this hawk was after the liver first and the unfortunate thriving fetuses were just in her way. Unless it has babies to feed, it will probably fly off after eating all the good bits and leave the baby rabbits to squirm helplessly. Crows will dispatch them, though, and finish up the rabbit's carcass as well. Crows are handy that way.

I'm actually really weirded out that this hawk let people get so close and be so noisy while it was eating. It looks very relaxed and isn't trying to move the prey or hide it. It's probably been fed by humans before, or it might even have escaped from a falconer or something. I mean, they're usually super-crazy protective and shy while eating. Strange.

RockBolt - 2008-04-23

Sounds to me like the peanut gallery inside watching this out a kitchen window or something

Big Name Celebrity - 2008-07-07

So falcons are kosher?

Aubrey McFate - 2008-04-23

this is, without hyperbole, the best thing i have ever seen

Dr Dim - 2008-04-23

"How can it do that?"

It makes a hole with its beak.

Smellvin - 2008-04-23

Well, if the hawk leaves the fetuses they'll make a very good meal for a smaller creature.

Billy Buttsex - 2008-04-23

"How can it do that?? How can it do that???"

BECAUSE IT'S HUNGRY, BITCH.

mouser - 2008-04-23

It's the rabbit's right to ooze.

Ersatz - 2008-04-23

If that was a hare, those little fetuses might be thriving a little better.

Stupid Lisa Garbage Face - 2008-04-23

Worst mother ever

Big Beef Burritos Supreme - 2008-05-10

A never ending series of smaller and smaller rabbits

garcet71283 - 2008-05-14

Nature!

Namor - 2008-06-23

She's saying "writhing" not "thriving". Then a bit later she describes them as "squirming" which pretty much confirms that she was trying to describe the motions the unborn bunny feti were making and not offering commentary on their chances at survival.

kennydra - 2008-08-20

no, she said thriving, because she's an idiot.

Big Name Celebrity - 2008-07-07

Best abortion vid EVER.

Slagathor - 2009-10-30

I like the dizzy piece of crap who almost starts crying. It's like they want to put the hawk on trial for war crimes.

ogmisce - 2010-04-22

what a boss hawk
