At the risk of blowing my nationality-anonymity, I'd like to explain this:

It's a PSA about being careful of thin ice in the springtime. It's aired after Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE) channel 2's all-time favorite childrens' show Pikku Kakkonen (Little Number Two -- yes, we kid about it all the time too).

The same animation has been airing since at least the 80s, I remember it being a bit scary and fascinating as a kid, because it's so surreal and it only aired rarely, when the weather started getting warmer after winter.

Oh, and -1 star for not having the original music, it was remade with boring modern synth sounds somewhere along the way. The original was more psychedelic.

What the fuck is wrong with Finland? I learnt off my parents that you ignore the siren call of those tricksy TVbirds, calling you out onto the lake, to dance their seductive icy fandango.... yeah, I didn't need no goddamn television learning me.
