Hooper_X - 2008-02-12

Fucking dumbass brat.

baleen - 2008-02-12

Holy shit this is totally my big brother and me when I was 7.
I didn't see any farting in the face or singing Boy George in really over the top effeminate ways to make me feel like shit though. Despite the abuse, I still worshiped the guy.

The spit is fucking gold. That was tantrum to the highest level.

FISTFULLofSOUL - 2008-02-12

that was fucking disturbing...only saved by the witty comments from behind the camera

kingarthur - 2008-02-12

See, the big ones are taking advantage of the little one's chemical imbalance for entertainment purposes.

Of course, I'm willing to bet the hereditary chemical imbalance was made worse by the family dysfunction.

kingarthur - 2008-02-12

Which the family will of course be in denial about until, say, frothy boy attempts suicide or runs away from home or worse and then it'll all be the frothing kid's "fault".

baleen - 2008-02-12

Chemical imbalance wha? Did you have an older brother that beat you at every video game (because he had been playing them for longer than you'd been able to talk) and then doled out challenges like "if you win this one you can play for an hour." Of course you could never win, so he ruled the Atari. This was frustrating because you could never get better, because he always won he always possessed the training device.

Naturally you cried, and would tell mom that Tony was hogging the Atari and she would look stoically from behind her knitting as if to say, "Do you think Pitfall II issues could possibly sway my emotions from their pervasive, locked in state of suburban melancholia?"

This caused you to return to your brother and try anything possible to increase your few precious moments with Pitfall. The result: insanity, tears, screaming to God, and uncontrollable spit.

The child is not imbalanced, he is a genius.

"I'll just bottle up my feelings until they fester into a mental illness"

Family dysfunction can lead to psychiatric problems.

Sean Robinson - 2008-02-12

It is the job of an older brother to make sure his younger brother doesn't turn into a total fucking Timmy. It goes back to caveman days when the survival of the tribe depended on older siblings teaching survival skills to their younger siblings through game-playing while the adult males were out hunting.

Nowadays, it is culturally crucial for younger brothers to get taught through humiliation and ridicule that Gary Jules is fucking homo, for instance. You clearly could have used an older brother.

Ahriman the Creepy Lurker - 2008-02-12

Chemical imbalance? What, is there a neurochemical that turns people into shrieky, whiny crybabies?

MK_Ultra - 2008-02-12

Oh yes. My brother using Aikido moves on me for 20 minutes ("What? It's not like you're getting hurt!") before pinning me and farting in my face multiple times is why I'm a heroin addicted cutter now.

My favorite part is the "Whyyyyyy?!!" Nobody in the room realized it, but at that point Patrick stopped believing in god.

Yellow Lantern - 2008-02-12

Green. Green! GREEN!

Thatcher Pennywhistle - 2008-02-12

This is canon.

PlushJake - 2008-02-12

Like a young Charlton Heston.

bang to buck ratio - 2008-02-12

SHUH DA FUG UP YOU SUGUVABISH

Man. Every Saturday morning at my house for many years. What an awesome thing it is to have brothers.

sosage - 2008-02-12

I have a feeling this is acting...either for the video or for the attention the other two are feeding it.

This is also why I only play people on my friends list.

RockBolt - 2008-02-12

This is older siblings in a nutshell

Adramelech - 2008-02-12

6:03 - 6:16

Enjoy - 2008-02-12

The spit-drop at 6:13 was fantastic. My kids can thank PoeTv for not having a video game system.

MK_Ultra - 2008-02-12

Good man.

halon - 2008-02-12

EPIC TANTRUM

coprolalia - 2008-02-15

Makes me wish I'd had a little brother to abuse.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2008-02-18

Seconds in and already it needs a "why the terrorists hate us" tag.

Also, my sister is manic depressive, if this isn't the clearest case of manic depression I don't know what is.
