Their bassist, Johnny Bazz, plays stand-up bass with a blues combo at bars around Long Beach. When I was working the door at my old pub, I arranged my schedule so I'd be there every Tuesday when they played. The same band also includes Steve Hodges, who used to play drums for Tom Waits.
