I got two Melvins tickets for free courtesy of a co-worker who couldn't go, but the show ran so late (on a worknight) that I had to leave in the middle of one of the dozen opening acts' sets.

The last set I saw was a shitty electroclash-bullshit act with Einar, the other singer from the Sugarcubes.

I am still sad.

I saw the last two NYC shows they did, FUN but they played the exact same set both nights. Next time around I'm buying one ticket unless it is a Houdini or Lysol show.
