The odors this produces are amazingly intense, even at large ranges. Back in college we had people from the other end of the block wondering why everything smelled like Irish Spring.

Indeed. Depending on the brand of soap you use, the fumes will permeate everything for days. Not that I would know from personal experience, of course.
