I never knew Yosemite Sam was a Red Sox fan

Not quite as good as the episode where Bugs finds himself accidentally on the 'Dark Continent' and has to bargain for his life with one of the natives. The conversation went something like this:

'Unga-bunga binga bunga!'

'Unga-bunga binga BINGA bunga!'

I'm not sure why they don't play these on TV anymore.

Am I giving too much credit to this cartoon by saying that it's actually showing the ignorance of racists by having "Jim Crow" as the only way Sam can see a black man? More to the point, Man, is this cartoon funny.

Terrific Bugs Bunny paradigm... he's subversive, he's clever, he ultimately wins, and he dresses like a woman. Beautiful. This should be in the Smithsonian.

that bomb gag is PERFECT

The "He's not in here! He's not in here!" line has always made me laugh.

I had seen this cartoon many times but not with the banjo/slave/Lincoln scene. Beauty.

"I'll-ah, I'll, uhh, take yer word forit, ma'am..."

Great cartoon.

I love that I've actually seen this on television. Thank God my grandparents bought me all the VHS tapes they could find when I was little.

He's been guarding it foe 90 years? It all makes sense now...Yosemite Sam is a Highlander.
