Search for "nostalgia manila" and you will find a site with many full episodes of this show, should you feel like reliving it.

Tally-Hawk!
Keeeeeyaaaaaaaaa!

Partly metal, partly reeeeeealll...
BHWW - 2007-08-30
But isn't why does the theme stress that they are "partly metal, partly real"? I mean if you bother to think about it, which I don't, metal is real.

But I suppose "partly metal, partly organnnnnnnnnnnnic" just doesn't have the same ring to it.

As a child... that very thought kept me up at night.

Aeschylus - 2007-08-31
I'm just glad I'm not the only one who thought of that.

Real
5. genuine; not counterfeit, artificial, or imitation; authentic: a real antique; a real diamond; real silk.

dead_cat - 2007-08-31
The writers thought "partly metal, partly live" would be too morbid?

Meatsack Jones - 2007-08-30
4 stars, mainly due to the intro being the best of the time, but the show itself being a complete bomb. Though I do admit I would stick around through the intro before changing channels.

It did have some of the most ridiculous bad guys in cartoon land. Even at a young age I appreciated the silliness of guitar wars in space.

Ialdabaoth - 2007-08-30
Space squidcar! Evil space rocker chick with laser-shooting keytar! Good space cowboy guy with laser-shooting guitar! Space mintaur! Space gay mime made out of copper!

Christ, this was the most magically retarded show ever. You gotta hand it to the 80s - I just can't see cartoons ever again getting away with the bizarre shit they did back then.
Modern Angel - 2007-08-30
Four only because Tigersharks was the obvious best of the Rankin Bass furry trifecta.
theSnake - 2007-08-30
OK this is kind of a strange memory test, but I swear that I can remember the Silverhawk with the guitars, his name is Bluegrass. And now to wikipedia it....
theSnake - 2007-08-30
Yep, thanks for ruining my brain 80s.

As much as I loved the show as a kid... The Thundercats could kick the shit out of these space fags.
Caminante Nocturno - 2007-08-30
This show was just one giant "Fuck You" to the laws of science and logic. They only made it worse by trying to tack on some educational bits at the end.
SharoKham - 2007-10-30
The cherry on top of the cherry was Copper Kid's sub-Hawkingsish synthesized voice. LEZGO.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2007-08-31
5 stars because it's a fucking space squid.
Xenocide - 2007-08-31
The space cowboy guy couldn't fly like the others. That means that his laser guitar was so important that they were willing to let him on the team despite his handicap.

The intro is pretty impressive, but then you watch the actual show and realize those 76 seconds used up 95% of the budget.
Hooper_X - 2007-08-31
I refuse to watch any episodes of this in order to maintain my blissful nostalgic ignorance. Besides, I only really remember the one that was set in the future after THEY ALL DIED HORRIBLY anyway.
