You'd be surprised how many people who work in mental health wish they could just let it all out like that.

baleen - 2007-08-24

They do. At least the people I've known in the tard services do. It's the only way to cope with how exhausting and terrible it is to have to work with kids who shit themselves and bite and slam their heads against the linoleum.

and as one who used to do the retard babysitting, except with adults (usually sexual offenders) instead of kids, i have to say, if you don't have some way to blow off your steam, then you'll usually become abusive in some subconscious level. the guys who kept it politically correct were usually the ones stealing anti-depressants from the poor retards or secretly keeping them in line with beatings. worst, most disgusting, heartbreaking, horrible, morally confusing and ultimately hopeless job i ever had. the only way i could see someone making a career out of it is by being dead inside, and i quit before that happened to me, thank god.

sorry for the 'nam flashback. the clip is funny too, i guess

Get this, I know someone with a retarded brother, he calls their softball team the goofy bastards. This really is how you cope.

Michael Houser - 2007-08-24

Jimmy Labatt - 2007-08-25

Plenty of room for him to, uh, dig, and play...

If you name your child Mongo and he DOESN'T turn out to be retarded, that's somehow even more tragic.
