Love this.
And I did get the opportunity to see this in the theater. Unfortunately, so did a drunk girl who kep screaming "Go to rocket number nine!" through the entire movie.
Now I am content to have the DVD.
"Inserting the breakfast pastry!"

Unless it's changed recently, this has been LONG out of print on DVD, which sucks. I saw it originally in theaters as well, and luckily it was a small, but MST devoted crowd who all enjoyed it enormously without having to be loud, dumbshit beardos about it (i.e., every single time I've ever seen a Star Trek movie in theaters).

Yup. I saw this movie in SF after having had my copy of the book signed by the cast earlier that day.

Good times.

I was lucky enough to see this in a theater last year at college. So much better with a crowd.

Very fun movie. These ridiculous 50's Universal Sci-Fi movies were great targets.

. . . why is there a picture of a hamburger on the wall?

"And his coffin will be made entirely of coconuts. Thank you."

I watched my VHS copy of this so many times that I stripped the magnetic tape.
