My theory is they're stuck on The Island from The Prisoner. That is my theory. Of course, I've never watched the show.

This, like most TV show clips on here, makes me happy that I don't watch TV.

They forgot to synchronize the part at about 15 seconds in where I change the channel.

But really, I hope the guy on the show that played in those 'Stepfather' movies IS The Stepfather, and ultimately disappointed by the behavior of his island family, kills each and every one of them.

I think the last episode is going to be Matthew Fox waking up with Bailey and Julia and telling them he had the weirdest dream ever. That is my theory.

I think the main story arc is pretty much going to wind up being exactly what it's being portrayed as... a weird geographical anomaly of an island where warring factions of government and corporation backed cult-like research groups have been fighting to control it, contain it, and ultimately benefit from it.

As for all the little stuff... Desmond's "flashes", The Monster, the mysterious healings, the whispers, the visions, etc... most of that will wind up going unexplained in the end, to leave it up to each viewer's own artistic interpretation. Which will piss off 90% of the TV-watching public, but keep that hardcore 10% uber-fan faction addicted for years as they continue to study the relationships between the themes of the show and other works of literature, philosophy and pop culture.
