You know, why not? If there's a market for it.

It’s hard to be a freelance artist, and not draw furry porn.
(Wouldn’t it’d be nice if the people that paid big commissions didn’t ask for wolves kissing)

Good news, I’m a couple years AI will make sure you never have to draw Tony The Tiger sucking off Chuck E Cheese ever again!

Not that I'm going to check but I suspect rule 34 has become pretty nuanced since the advent of midjourney.

Made my money off doing furry commissions for a few years! I was already a furry pervert so it wasn't really stooping, it was a side hustle that ended up being a main hustle while I was job searching. I stopped because a) I found a dayjob that actually paid me a living wage and b) the amount of money I was making vs. the amount of work I was putting in was fucking depressing. I do not recommend doing furry commissions if drawing furries isn't something you'd be doing in your free time anyway, and I also don't think you should monetize your hobbies. Some people make it work, I guess. I've seen too many people burn themselves out though.

If you're drawing porn it's kinda like doing phone sex with strangers. People don't always respect your boundaries, and when your income depends on you retaining clients you just have to get good at putting your feelings aside.
