QI is about civil liability; you're talking about criminal charges.

My overall point is that much of the "ACAB" discourse is based in ignorance (the same is true of much of the thin blue line sheepdog talking points) and oversimplified slogans. There are problems with the criminal justice system, but the demands of people who don't take the time to understand reality don't move us toward fixing those problems.

The problem with QI is the gullible expectation that cops will use it only as a safeguard against frivolous cases, while in reality it is used is more and more as a "Get Out of Jail Free" card for cops that get too much blood on their hands.

You nerds are missing the point of the video. It's just funny because it mimics the level intro style of Sonic Adventure 2 while relating the events of the first level to edgy anti-cop rhetoric. It's not really supposed to be on the nose.
