The amount of projection people do onto this old mutant retard is really funny.

I didn't realize this was supposed to be a pro Trump clip, I thought it was making fun of him.

yogarfield - 2022-04-07

You've insulted Elaine. One star.

You've posted an old meme of a D-list celebrity nobody that rose to power through memery. One star.

Do the math..

ashtar. - 2022-04-07

Those are things you like and are awarding stars for?

yogarfield - 2022-04-08

I suggest enrolling in a remedial reading comprehension class.

ashtar. - 2022-04-08

UWU
B-but senpai, two staws is mowe dan one?

yogarfield - 2022-04-08

Two one-stars, obviously. Does the weird baby-talking weeb need me to cut his ratings sandwich in half for him? I thought you were a big boy.

ashtar. - 2022-04-08

So what would be the distinction in rating between a video with five reasons why it's garbage and the best video ever? Wouldn't they both be five stars? Surely you can see how your "double one star" rating schema threatens to invite chaos and disorder!

yogarfield - 2022-04-09

Yawn. You've had more than enough time to get good at shitposting, and you still can't do it. We're not mad son, we're just bored with you.

ashtar. - 2022-04-09

You are definitely mad. I'm just having some goofy fun; you are choosing to shut joy out of your life.

yogarfield - 2022-04-10

I think it must take you too long to type, because I just check this site when I'm waiting for a kettle to boil. Not enough time for you to occupy my mind, but enough time for me to go "wow, ashy still sucks at trolling."

It's like watching a comedian bomb on a rotting stage to an empty crowd. You're an exhibit, mate.

ashtar. - 2022-04-10

mad.

yogarfield - 2022-04-12

Please submit a vlog about my perceived level of mad. This place could use some spice.

Lef - 2022-04-07

No justice in the world.

Indian Batman is still stuck dancing in the hopper, but this makes it out?

SolRo - 2022-04-07

I mean, American politicians are currently going hoarse screaming “war crimes!”, without irony…so yeah, no justice.

Lef - 2022-04-07

Not just American politicians, and not just going hoarse.

And like all previous sanctions and votes, it will probably backfire and weaken the west. Pay attention to the abstained list. They will get access to cheap gas and fertilizer. Their economies will not tank, and their people won't starve (as much).

This is a cluster fuck of truly global scale.

We are watching the death of the petrodollar and the formation of a tri-polar world. Our standard of living is going to collapse and the recession may become a depression.

Total lack of imagination to think it couldn't be handled in a different way. This has been an absolute western failure that is shattering our way of life.

But hey, at least Zalensky gets standing ovations and Putin strengthens his country?

Our leaders can't be this stupid can they? Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth. I believe they understand the outcome, and are doing it on purpose.

Maybe it'll be the end of the UN, at least something good may come from this.

Gunny McRifleson - 2022-04-09

"and Putin strengthens his country?"

How is Putin strengthening his country?

Lef - 2022-04-09

Mono culture news source is harming you. Cast a wide news net and compare the contradictions.

- The Ruble is higher valued now than before the invasion.
- They've strengthened trade with China and India (and others!), all the while moving the US$ away from reserve currency
- They have no inflation
- Half of Europe is still buying Russias gas (EVEN THE VATICAN!), but now, instead of paying in US$, they are paying in Ruble that they buy from Russia with Gold.
- All those North African countries that import wheat or starve, will do whatever Russia wants to feed their people. If they don't, the next "Arab Spring" will line the streets with hanged politicians and starving people.

Biden is driving the world to deal with Putin on Putins terms.

Biden has allowed Putin to re-instate a commodity backed currency.
The 1974 Nixon/Kissinger petro-dollar that allowed the US to dominate financially and raised the standard of living for America is dying quickly.

The 1500 soldiers Putin sacrificed for this gambit are paying off handsomely. That's called hard power.

The US fights with soft power, with propaganda pretending to be news, with harsh words but no stick. Soft power is not maintaining the American hegemon. The emperor has no clothes, and Putin is pointing and laughing while American influence wanes.

Source?

Yes but they're still at an economic disadvantage being cut off from Western Europe.
- They have no inflation

That is not true.

Uhhhhh okay, or they get their wheat elsewhere.

-Biden is driving the world to deal with Putin on Putin's terms.
??? Putin is a one-man recruiting drive for NATO. I doubt strengthening NATO is his "terms"

-Biden has allowed Putin to re-instate a commodity backed currency.

This isn't in my wheelhouse so I'll allow that maybe squeezing Putin's economy will have long-term benefits for him.

-The 1500 soldiers Putin sacrificed for this gambit are paying off handsomely. That's called hard power.

First of all, that 1500 number is laughable. Also, Putin exposed his army as poorly led, poorly trained, incapable of basic logistics, and soft outside of committing war crimes on civilians.

-The US fights with soft power, with propaganda pretending to be news, with harsh words but no stick. Soft power is not maintaining the American hegemon. The emperor has no clothes, and Putin is pointing and laughing while American influence wanes.

Putin's laughing? He's alternating between putting his fingers in his hears and saying "LALALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!" and making wild, unhinged threats about nuclear war. NOTHING in his actions suggests calm projection of power. Also intelligence suggests that the Kremlin 1) was surprised that Putin actually went through with an invasion and 2) were caught almost completely off-guard by the level of sanctions.

Lef - 2022-04-10

I concede the inflation point. You are miss-informed with the rest, sticking your fingers in your ears going lalalala!

Russia was happy to have 1500 soldiers die. What number of lives do you have that Russia is happy to sacrifice? maybe double, 3000? Still willing to do it.

Careful believing what CNN or FOX tells you. You will only get truth from the market.

You are welcome.

Gunny McRifleson - 2022-04-10

Thanks for the links. I'll admit Russia economically is probably doing better than Western media portrays but there's no way being disconnected from global banking and having (outside of gas/oil) crippling, market-closing sanctions isn't having an effect because...they closed their markets.

As far as troop losses goes, in a country on the precipice of losing a third of its population by 2100 (https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2020/12/01/russia-population -decline-putin/), losing over 7000 young men is disastrous and that's before factoring what happens when bodies start coming home and he's no longer able to focus on rural areas to draw "conscripts".

And no, they're not "happy" because they expected Zelensky to flee, Ukraine to collapse, and Russian troops "liberating" Kyiv within 72 hours. So they probably didn't expect more then a few hundred casualties. And I don't have to trust Western Media for that analysis, I can just trust my own eyes watching their slow, clumsy maneuvering and reading their constant contradictions and goalpost-moving.

Like I've said before in other comments, I'm not in the tank for Putin's demise or regime change in Russia. Personally if he ended this senseless bloodshed today, observed a ceasefire and actually negotiated, he could probably walk away keeping Crimea, getting an "agreement" from Ukraine that they will not join NATO, and being able to sell this to his people as a victory.

Lef - 2022-04-11

Our sources of news lie to us.

ALL THE TIME.

Journalism is dead.

I don't really care what happens in Russia or China, or Europe, except how it huts me financially and socially.

I do care about the continued decline of the west This hurts me and my family.

I care about the evaporation of free speech.

I really care about the destruction of truth.

I really really care about my family suffering and becoming neo-serfs to the idiots running the world.

We the comman people will suffer.

ashtar. - 2022-04-11

I'm not an economist, but I do think that the US should be very concerned about the world moving away from the Dollar as a reserve currency. A lot of our shit is based on low interest rates and free deficits; those things might go away if more countries move to the Yuan because China isn't as likely to weaponize banking.

I'm not sure how likely that is, but I don't think Americans have a realistic picture of how distrusted and increasingly vulnerable we are globally. This isn't 1946 or even 2002.
