Neat.
But can someone older/more in the know tell me what all these "rock n' roll cartoons" (Heavy Metal, Rock n' Rule etc.) insist on having all the music muffled to the point that it sounds like you are listening to it through a wall and the sound effects turned way the hell up?

jangbones - 2017-11-01 The eighties saw some innovation in video and audio technology, and it seemed to me that a lot of the production value suffered.
In my old job, I would go through eighties television shows and if there were a lot of graphics, then something was usually wrong with it, like the VITC was fucked up or something.

between nelvanas repetitive art style, dull, hacky heavy metal ripoffs, and the (now dead) dude from the leons commercial providing voicework in nearly every cartoon, i think we have a strong justification for introducing the term "canadanimation"

fedex - 2017-11-01 PS: I love how no matter which studio (Nelvana, etc) there always has to be a star or co-star with a thick, Brooklyn NEW YAWK accent.
Never fails.

I really hope this has some of that Cow and Chicken humor I love.

I'm sure Atkinson Film-Arts resisted the temptation to do that end pan and have Bert Raccoon show up.
