I've never seen a Yugo in real life. I've heard many a tale of how they were complete and utter pieces of poorly built fall apart shit, but I've never ever actually seen one.

That and you looked like you were driving a go-cart and if you got in a wreck you might as well be driving a cardboard box.

They were crazy, but the craziest part was that the spare tire was up front behind the engine, to keep the weight balanced. If you had a tire replaced and you didn't put it back, you risked flipping over upside down at high speeds.

In my youthful days in Houston, I still remember witnessing one of the top 10 most ridiculous things I've ever seen. An avocado green Yugo, dropped with underbody lighting, and, racing tires.
