I used to watch the shit out of this but I had no idea it ran that many seasons. I remember two or three tops.

The "Over/Under" features on Pitchfork, which are more-or-less the same thing, are probably the only reasons I ever visit that website anymore. Musicians and celebrities being asked to give their opinion on stuff is nothing new, but the format and randomness of the questions are the exact same formula. I'd be interested to see if there's a Liz Phair one, since somehow she became as lame as all the lame things in lametown

Oh wait this isn't MTV or Box. I didn't even know Almost Live ran for that many seasons!

Living about 2 miles down the road from Woodinville, I agree with this assessment.

I know that's where Red Hook Ale comes from and that's about it, so at least it's not Bellevue?

Red Hook is overrated. I'm a Black Raven guy.

I'd always go up to the San Juans when I was a kid and on the way I'd see town named like Vader, Black Diamond and Cosmopolis, not to mention the Emerald City nickname. I was convinced y'all were into some cool black magic shit. Yeah Black Raven is the shit! For a long time I could find Trickster IPA on draught at the place I pinball at but for the most part it's been Pike and Elysian that I see, which are A-OK too I suppose. If you're ever down south I'd highly recommend stopping by the Walking Man Brewing Co. in Stevenson, WA or if you haven't had it the Homo Erectus is like angels pissing in your mouth, as a Seattle friend of mine used to say.

...I'd totally forgotten about this show. I saw a bunch of episodes at some point but now it's just a few segments that stuck out, like the lame list.

It used to air down in Portland too, but I think on some random night of the week and not before SNL, which made me mistakenly believe that it was the same show as SCTV. I didn't know until maybe 3 years ago that the show was even filmed in the jet city

Old_Zircon - 2017-05-24

This bit and Mind Your Manners with Billy Kwan are the only ones that really stuck with me but I watched it a lot for a couple years when it was syndicated on The Comedy Channel (or maybe it was already Comedy Central at that point, I forget).

infinite zest - 2017-05-25

Ah.. the halcyon days when Comedy Central was a ripe joke for The Simpsons to pluck, and not the network that'd save The Simpsons' spinoff show.
