I don't know for sure that double blinds are used in terminal cases. All the clinicals myself and my doctors are looking at require the patient to be in an advanced stage of cancer, often with my specific type of cancer, which would mean a terminal illness. Using a double blind at that point just seems cruel and may or may not be an ethics issue for the doctors involved.
Everytime you live to see something good, like the new MST3K, that's a victory. It's all about getting as many victories as possible. Not just for you; for everyone.
