Anyone know why this got out of the hopper?

No, it was because of liberals calling racists racist!

I voted it up mainly because I'd seen the discussion around it recently, also upvoting most anything other than waugh's dark knight deluge.

Anyone, like, not think this game or the series is so great? I torrented the third one, and the graphics are pretty (especially the bo9sses) but I've seen better gameplay variety in 16-bit beat-em-ups. I move forward, hit hit hit, I move foward, hit hit hit. You could have a broken conotroller and as long as "up" and "attack" buttons work, you could probably beat the game.

There just wasn't a strong alternative in the hopper to a DS3 weaponwank vid that wasn't just more of the same Dark Knight vids.

I dunno. I saw some of the comments, but a vid like this just isn't convincing me of much either way. He could have 99 in all stats, and lightning's always been the most broken element on weapons. Personally, I've never been especially jazzed about Dark Souls PvP anyway, unless it was psyching people into falls or deathtraps.

I don't know what this is.

Well, the first one is legitimately a great game, with a large and interesting gameworld full of secrets and weird/giant enemies and great online PvP. There is zero hand holding. Try figuring out how to play the game without using a FAQ, it really makes the whole experience richer. The story sucks/is incomprehensible, but its basically immaterial, and you could play the game for 40+ hours without getting truly bored and long past that if you really got into it. The sequels are basically cash in's/more of the sames. Bloodbourne is pretty good, but I almost wonder how much of that is attributive to the different setting/play style.
