The original shot was so bloody, that they had to reshoot it to avoid getting an X rating.

I hotwired one of those once when drunk.
The crunching sound really upsets me. Children should never be killed in horror movies...ever. Other horror movies that killed kids were "Treasure of the Pirhana" and the re-make of "The Blob". Absolutely uncalled for. I can't even find it humorous in a tragic way. It is truly evil.
I remember being upset by the kids getting killed in the Blob remake, too. I was, oh, around 10 or so then. Now, I just laugh and laugh.
But once they hit puberty, it's hilarious when people die.

Killdozer could take that steamroller.
This movie was a triumph, up there with Tremors.
