Can't believe this wasn't up here yet. The fact that this scene and Porky's laughing fits are the only two things I remember from this short says a lot.
I always liked that Porky's expression is both a commentary on Daffy and a meta commentary on the joke itself.
I'm pretty sure he's saying "yoiks" not "yikes."
That's what I'm thinking, too.
ah, "used by fox hunters to urge on the hounds". So you're probably right. Thought it was some antiquated usage of "Yikes"
