i think it's very important to be kind to those who have a desire to be treated a certain way. to make a big deal about not respecting somebody's pronoun preference etc. seems to be a lot more trouble than it's really worth, don't you think? i find CWC completely ridiculous, but it's extremely simple to refer to *her* being ridiculous instead of misgendering and being a brat about it.

I'm totally on board with LGBTBBQ rights and correct pronoun associations but our resident sperglord Chris Chan is deserving of none of those things because he was not born a woman trapped in a mans body. If a wealthy troll bankrolled an escort to be his girlfriend 24/7 365 days a year our semen sippin bud would drop the Christina charade in a heartbeat and you know it.

basically, rather than CWC's possibly "fake" transition (which is extremely dubious moral and philosophical ground, like how can we prove someone is faking their gender preference/fluidity) hurting transpeople, in actuality not taking her seriously does, in fact, hurt trans people, as well as the mentally ill/disabled.

No, Bus, that made perfect sense! You're right; Christine's gender identity is separate from his/her sexuality, and how does even begin to define the terms under which we, as remote observers, judge the validity of her/his claims?

As to the first, Chris has already had sex as a transwoman, and that didn't do a thing to stop his transition (if anything, it may have accelerated the change). And as to the second, if you accept that people can be legitimately trans, then I have yet to see any reason to deny that same courtesy to Christine. Such arguments always seem to boil down to the statement "yes, well, *I* accept trans people, but not THIS trans, because she is embarrassing" - i.e. the No True Scots-transwoman fallacy.

Huh, I *wish* I'd bought her a PS4! In case you weren't following Christian Love Day 2k16, part of the deal was that the first fan to send CWC a PS4 was going to receive a few hundred dollars worth of Sonichu swag. In other words, it was basically a barter transaction - one PS4 for an equally valuable set of Sonichu figurines. Add to that the intangible benefits of making Chris happy and facilitating the creation of new Sonichu content, and a PS4 begins to sound like a reasonable investment.

Incidentally, this has been causing a lot of drama over at the official forums. Most people are angry, some people think it's a hoax, and all agree that it's the most significant Christorical event since a couple weeks ago, when Chris filled his fridge with jars of semen.
