Yeah the first couple minutes were classic Conan to me, which is the Conan I grew up with. But the rest was the Ice-ing on the cake. See what I did there?

Also Popeyes buttermilk biscuits feel like buttermilk flavored pop rocks. This is probably the most staged thing I've ever seen from Conan but it was still really cute.

I enjoy some Ice Cube movies for the same reason I like some Adam Sandler movies: the peripheral characters.

Ice Cube is just butterknife dull

I've had to sit through a few, and it's funny to see him in a G or PG-rated movie as a family man or something, because he's still the crazy motherfucker named Ice Cube to me. But a buddy cop movie with no cussin? That's taking shit too far. As for Hart, I liked his stand up special on netflix and don't know much else about him, but it's kind of too bad that he was thrown into the late 90s Eddie Murphy roles so quickly.

Some of this has to do with marketing: I've seen a lot of movies where they cut away because the movie was made to be R. Die Hard 4's a good example of this. Yippie Kay Yay mother(gunshot) but for the most part there's been a noticeable drop in attendance at those movies. I think Hollywood pretty much got the message and Die Hard 5 (don't watch it) is full of fucks again. Kids these days need to see movies without parental guidance, but they also know how to illegally download movies better than I do.. Chuck D was wrong about the way Hollywood's probably going to burn.

True, but I think I had it figured out by 14 that pg13 comedies usually don't work, and that was back in 1994.

Then again, there were a few good PG13 comedies that came out before I turned 18, like the excellent Dirty Work. But I knew how to get R rated VCDs over in Chinatown no problemo. So unless parents have become smarter too, most 14 year olds should know that they can just get the R rated movies with a push of a button or two (and a couple of porno ads).

Very mind boggling. Also I wonder how the pot thing worked. I'm sure it was fake pot, a fake cop, the girl wasn't learning to drive, etc. etc. but it is illegal to smoke and drive in California I think.
