Sepsis is no joke and she's lucky to be alive given her shit state of health.

gravelstudios - 2015-08-20

My uncle died of septic shock. He didn't have a bowel movement for 2 weeks and refused to go to the doctor. Finally, his colon burst.

gmol - 2015-08-20

I've heard about terrible stories post sepsis cognitive impairment. Seeing her functioning makes me wonderfully happy.

chumbucket - 2015-08-20

Ah OK, well glad she's doing better and all but I was starting to get downright PISSED about not seeing new cooking videos! So she had better get her ass back in that kitchen.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-08-20

My current roommate is about 300 lbs. She was at around 250, lost 50 lbs and then gained it all back within a few months, along with an additional 50. I have been doing an internship for a nutritionist. She always asks me for advice. She thinks if she eats healthy food and all the shit she eats (entire cakes in a few days to "treat" herself, etc) that will somehow balance out. It doesn't. She developed pancreatitis a few weeks ago and was in the hospital ten days. She doesn't have anyone except her ex-husband who couldn't come because he lives 1,000 miles away. When she came home, it was with about 20 bucks worth of cheese and deli meats, along with some bread but very little soft foods. I was like, if you eat any of this you could go right back to the hospital. I even called the nutritionist I knew who gave her some free advice.

When we both told her she could develop pancreatic cancer or kidney failure as a result of improper eating after this she laughed and said "If I had a nickel for every time I hear people tell me I could die I could buy off this house!"

Yeah, well, good luck with that. I'm moving out soon. Hopefully people like this wake up but they don't always. I hope Sarah gets some counseling and realizes she needs to lose the weight or possibly die.

Roommates of Unusual Size?

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-08-20

No, see, she doesn't think it's unusual. She's convinced herself it's totally normal for her to be fat. She's just like this. She can't help it. She was always big. So why bother to change? It's been hard because I am watching someone just slide into a ditch and I am not gonna be the one to get her out.

baleen - 2015-08-20

The fat love/fetishist movement is a request for a license to die.

Nikon - 2015-08-20

I think the fat acceptance/fat pride thing needs to go away.

Miss Henson's 6th grade class - 2015-08-20

Homer gets em.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-08-20

I'm moving out soon. Fat roommates are generally really depressing to be around. I told this story on POE years ago but I once had another fatty roommate and I came downstairs one night to see her eating a stick of butter out of the fridge, caught like a deer in headlights.

"I just like to treat myself sometimes," she responded coyly. And continued eating it.

You can't unsee that shit.

Nominal - 2015-08-20

She looks more and more like the exploding henchman at the end of Big Trouble in Little China.

Fur is Murder - 2015-08-20

You had to learn how to feed yourself again, huh? You must have picked that up again quick.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2015-08-20

I should not have laughed at that as hard as I did.

crojo - 2015-08-20

Some hot dogs in the background?

yogarfield - 2015-08-20

nice alliteration

baleen - 2015-08-20

"Take away the septic sickness and would." - Gmork

jangbones - 2015-08-20

her chin is so large that her mouth is in the center of her face

unless she changes her health, there is no chance she is alive in 2020

Ugh - 2015-08-20

*slowly lowers party hat onto monitor*

kingarthur - 2015-08-20

You get my stars, old timer.

The Mothership - 2015-08-20

This poor woman. i am glad that she is not dead.

SolRo - 2015-08-20

Only Sarah could go through a serious illness and look like she gained weight.

I lost 30lbs while in the hospital for an injury

gmol - 2015-08-20

Probably edema, sepsis is a terrible terrible thing.

boner - 2015-08-20

She wasn't missing, it was an eclipse.

Sorry

Void 71 - 2015-08-20

This heifer would be the perfect model for a contemporary remake of the Statue of Liberty.

cognitivedissonance - 2015-08-20

She's clearly nice and a good provider, but she needs to reevaluate.

Bus_Aint_Comin - 2015-08-20

"anna-bottics" are such a wonderful invention. this makes me feel better about being only 30lbs overweight. i'm going to treat myself to a nice entire pizza.

fluffy - 2015-08-20

I'm sorry for giggling at "shipped me to another hospital" and the mental images that evoked. I am a terrible person.

Robin Kestrel - 2015-08-21

Too big to fail.
