Yeah it's weird how Batman sort of erased the stigma of super hero games, dating back to the Sunsoft NES one. I'm pretty sure it was advertised as almost looking like a Genesis game, which is kind of like TGI Fridays saying their food tastes like Chilis.. but I'll be playing New Vegas for the next year. And speaking of glitches.

You might want to check out some footage of it on youtube before purchasing it. The plot's all over the place and less said about the PC release, the better.

"That's like saying one chain restaurant tastes like a different chain restaurant"

Aelric - 2015-07-08

I played it through, ON THE PC no less. It's a good game, though the plot is a little predictable if you know any of the history of the comics.

All chain restaurants are mostly the same except Applebees is significantly worse than the rest of them.

Apparently Aelric lucked out by playing the game on exactly the same one or two hardware setups the game was tested on...as it's so broken on the PC that they stopped selling it.

I've sunk more hours than I care to think about into it and I'm still not finished. It's great. It's got some of the most morbidly hilarious one liners I've ever heard in a video game.

I begrudgingly purchased the PS4 version because of the exclusive content. Of course, when I heard about what an absolute train wreck the PC version has been, I thanked my lucky stars I let myself be sucked into the PS4 version after all.

You are right, I didn't have nearly the trouble that others had with it, Though it did run at ugly resolutions due to the texture streaming making the texture pop-in takes quite some time. As such, almost everything but batman himself was skinned in muddy low res. I DO NOT recommend the PC version, but I didn't have crashes or framerate issues, so I kept playing because I was hooked in already.

I look forward to trying it out once it's patched right. Still, I hear the PS4 version is just fine.

I can update my New Vegas to get rid of the glitches, but you know what? I like them! I understand them being annoying in a realistic game like GTA but Batman and Fallout are fictional universes respectively. As long as the game runs I don't mind when things get a little weird, because that's sort of the universe.

Plus I've watched this like 50 times and it still makes me laugh.

twirly guards too

blue vein steel - 2015-07-09

i'll get it for the PS4. I've heard all the horror stories about the PC version and i think my GTX670 would struggle with it anyway. Games like this tend to lend themselves better to a gamepad and bigscreen

badideasinaction - 2015-07-09

Me and friends made it through the main ending and eventually decided to skip the completionist ending and watch it on youtube. No spoilers, but holy hell are we glad we didn't both trying to get everything, because it's not worth it.
