There's a lot to love here but the best part are the performances. Its as if Dwain promised an extra ten bucks to whoever could overact the most. Of course, FIRE IN MY BRAIN guy walks away with the gold medal, but the competition for the silver is spirited. The mad scientist actually beats his chest a few times, and if you watch one of the morgue workers closely, you'll notice a slight facial tic. Of course, silent movies were probably a big influence. Sound had been the standard for only a few years.
