The video mentions the bar has lost several mummified toes to similar incidents before (none actually deliberate like this) but they manage to get replacement toes donated, which might be the most fucked part of this.
I live by a bar called Yukon and if you order a drink you get free bacon. If it's a shot, the bacon is just in the shot glass. Some days I'll be walking around with a lot of bacon, trying to give it to hungry strangers.
I know two unrelated people who've drank from the toe jar, one of whom didn't know what she was getting and accidentally got the toe in her mouth. A story which is so much more horrifying to me after seeing the preload image.
It seems like it would be pretty easy to get some custom glasses made that had some sort of guard to prevent people from eating the toe, but I can also see how that might be against the spirit of the whole thing.
