Yeah.. but they die or get separated forever in a lot of episodes, like Cowboy Bebop. Since there's no real continuity (except for Boobies) it seemed like it could've gone on longer. I love anime for the style but much of the humor just isn't funny to me. And that's pretty common. CB and SD actually were, although I really don't like QT's autotune.

this scene I saw first when I was burning through the Japanese ones, and saw again in English, and the autotune really ruined it for me. It's cute in dialogue but I dunno, it just took me out of the moment when I saw it again on Adult Swim. I also preferred the original narrator's enthusiastic voice vs. the English one, but I'm not sure how well that'd translate. As far as dubs go, it's probably the best voice acting I've ever heard tho.

I guess if you've never hears the original dialogue it's no big deal.
But the dub voice actually sounds a lot like the original japanese voice to me, just with autotune added for effect.
