Me, my brother, and 2 sisters used to play press your luck at home using this old game called BTO: Big Time Operator. They were the contestants, and I was the Whammy.

The way we would do it is every time the wheel landed on a pay spot, that was a whammy, and I would be the whammy, doing my best to reenact the things I saw the whammies do on the show. It was fun!

It's worth watching the clip about the totally insane guy who figured out the pattern to land on the money+spin space every time and on to win a record 0k.
He "invested" the money by converting it all to single dollar bills so he could win a radio contest where you had to have the matching dollar serial number. Entire apartment was garbage bags full of singles scattered over the floor. He came back one evening and found it had all been stolen in a robbery.
