ClickHole seems hit and miss with their shit, sometimes they nail it but more often than not you get one small point of satire or social commentary drawn out way too long with no other substance to warrant it.

I think ClickHole is where the Onion sends writers who don't make the A list.

My theory is that Clickhole is what the writers of the little sight-based headlines on the front page started after the onion stopped paper printing. They were funny, but if context were to be added like a in normal article, they'd be less funny. Which I guess is what happened. But they're still fun to post on facebook for people who still think it's real, and clickbait or not, I clicked on it, so they win.

I think the real genius of these is how their ridiculous take on the internet video formulas feel like they make sense- like the right circumstances could definitely bring rise to sincere versions of their videos and clickbait articles.

Maybe I don't get it because I never really see those "AMAZING! You WONT believe what these 3 EX-TERRORISTS have to say about painting a bedroom!!!" things, nor do I ever really click them.

So maybe I'm jut too cultured and highbrow to get this rather pedestrian joke.

Clickhole is hit or miss, but it's hits are way funnier than anything the Onion itself has done in the past decade or so.

Wow Oddeye, I'd like to live in that world. I never see them on here, but if I have to check Weather.com for the weather (ya, I used to use wunderground; did you know weather.com bought them out)? or Huffingtonpost (I know, Aljazeera's great but not always for US news) I have to see the things all the time.
