Doubt that anyone working on Sonic now is that self aware.

I don't really watch CN but I'm aware enough of their schedule, as it's pretty easy to find on the website. Looks like during the week, it's Pokemon in the early morning, then pretty much Teen Titans Go, Clarence, Gumball, Regular Show, etc. and then come saturday it's a bunch of BULLSHIT LIKE THIS and some dumb Lego thing.

So that means that unless kids are skipping school to watch the good programming they're stuck with shit on the weekend.

Like, sorry if I offended any Sonic fans. Sonic's actually my favorite game because I like pinball, so there you go. If you want to use the old Nintendon't argument, Sonic Team did create a universe that could potentially go places that Mario couldn't in a non-game world, but as far as I know has fucked it every time outside of the Archie comics I don't read.

Kids still watch cartoons on weekdays...

Yeah it depends. When I was a kid I had swim team/tennis/choir/symphony until after cartoons were over for the day, so I counted on the Saturday Mornings for a day where I could do nothing but watch cartoons and eat cinnamon toast crunch. That means I missed out on Ducktales and Talespin and Ducktalespin x2 AKA Darkwing Duck but I got to see some pretty fucking cool shit like Reboot and Captain N on my free days.

Afterschool programs aren't a problem anymore since most have been cut.

If that's the case I can't wait for the extended cut, where Ulillillia does this for 40 minutes
