I'm clearly in the minority here but I thought this was pretty lazy humor for Neil and would have been a lot better if he played it straight enough that you wouldn't know the difference if you heard it from across the room.
Dragonflies don't really fly away, they just go around and around in squares. You probably see the same one every now and then but you won't necessarily recognize it. Actually that's a perfect metaphor for Kravitz.
