I never played this but the original Wizball on the c64 is one of my favourite games of all time. One of the few c64 games I can still enjoy playing today, it's a beautifully designed and realised experience. The Martin Galway music is also incredible.

I couldn't imagine trying to play this with any capacity for patience with anything but a trackball control/mouse.
