When Pac-Man finally dies, does he then become another ghost?

Many props to that man for keeping a mostly straight face through that story.

I seem to recall there was once a magazine writer who deliberately sought to prove that Karl was a fake character. He ended up interviewing him for however long, ready to jump on anything that would prove he knew this was all a joke and was just on Gervais's payroll. Apparently he left that interview convinced that Karl was just Karl...

Many people who were at XFM at the same time as him and now have broadcasting careers of their own, as well as a few old schoolfriends who came out of the woodwork around the time of the first podcasts, have all verified that Karl is the real deal.

It's too perfect for it not to be comedy. One thing is making stupid and inane comments, the other is making stupid and inane comments that are constantly entertaining. Also, he has worked as a producer for quite some time now. A lot of producers are stupid, but they're never naive.

That said, if Karl is able to keep this act up every waking moment, that's a kind of madness in and of itself.

I've decided its all hidden wisdom.

Karl is such an honest and decent person that he can let loose a stream-of-conciousness without it being vulgar or evil, so he just thinks out loud

Well the original theory was that Ricky and Steve had made him in the same way people now think Banksy created Mr. Brainwash. But as Ricky and Steve rather believably pointed out, it takes them months to write a single episode of The Office, Extras, and Derek' how could they have been churning out that much Karl that quickly.

For those of us who have followed Karl right back from the XFM days in the early 2000's, it's nice to see him (after all the experiences he has had for TV, in travelling the world and meeting scientists) growing something close to wise and profound.

haha he still has a long long way to go.
