Aurini isn't funny because of anything he says or does, he's funny because of how hard he's trying to hide his pathetic desperation. And you can get that in any of his videos. The joke got old. One star.

I've already said that I knew the guy was trolling but I was enraged anyway. Successful troll is successful, that's all. I don't think that's even a teensy bit bizarre. It's a little bit embarrassing for me, but he found my button. It's really just that simple.

Well, at least you can admit when you're butthurt, Mr Holmes. That shows a remarkable level of self-awareness. I still don't see how hitting on Sarkeesian triggers the butthurt event horizon, beyond which he ceases to be an object of derisive amusement, when he's done so many other things that are far more infuriating; hell, he's not even threatening to rape her, which is downright chivalrous considering the subject matter. I don't even think he's trolling. He's being a tad inflammatory, but I see no reason to assume that he's insincere in his beliefs.

I met a friend of a co-worker a while back who has decided to turn trolling into a psuedo-religious philosophy of life. He tells people he follows Loki and the native american coyote god and he trolls people so they may learn more about themselves. And that if trolling upsets you it is because of some defect of character on your part, which will only be rectified by more trolling.

Trolling is and always has been the art of saying something you don't necessarily believe, for no other reason than to piss people off. I'm sure Mr Aurini enjoys pissing people off, but I don't think that's his primary motivation here; it's a perk of his job, not the sole reason he goes to the office every morning.

He's just like Anita. He says dumb, inflammatory things, but it's not because he's trying to cleverly provoke a negative reaction from you, it's because he sincerely believes these dumb, inflammatory things.

He really believes that Sarks is desperate for a man. As he explains in other videos, he's a neo-traditionalist who thinks that women only want, and always need, a strong male to guide them. The bit about Anita being an under (over?) educated pseudo-intellectual is presumably sincere, too - which again, fits in with my theory that the two of them would be perfect together.

As for whether he thinks Sarks knows less about video games than he does, I have no idea. I do know that he seems to have an even worse opinion about video games than Sarkeesian, and, unlike Sarkeesian, he wastes no time in spelling out exactly why he thinks they're a problem. There's no dancing around, dropping insinuations and hiding behind a veil of "discussion" in order to avoid having a position to defend. He thinks video games are the tool of Satanic Jewish humanists, and by golly he's not afraid to say it
