Jet Bin Fever - 2014-04-07

"I think this is a joke. I think the guy just wants attention. I think he knows he's getting on the Factor if he dresses like a dog."

Yes Bill, because that's the dream of every young pup, to be on your shitty show. If he wanted to be on your show he would've changed into a blonde with a nice rack, not a dog.

yogarfield - 2014-04-07

I think Bill-O needs to be strapped into a Clockwork Orange machine and force fed furries and inflation videos set to the tune of the Star-Spangled Banner.

infinite zest - 2014-04-07

To refer to the Ludovico Apparatus as the "Clockwork Orange Machine" is like referring to the X-Wing as the "Star Wars Jet" :)

yogarfield - 2014-04-07

Which is exactly what a call an X-wing. I also call Patrick Stewart "the bald captain" and a Stargate is an "intergalactic gloryhole for giants".

yogarfield - 2014-04-07

"I"

Oscar Wildcat - 2014-04-07

I for one approve of this new nomenclature.

oddeye - 2014-04-07

While I am not disagreeing with you zest; the details of A Clockwork Orange aren't common knowledge. I could totally forgive someone for using "clockwork orange machine" in a sentence because they are at least bringing up a book that I enjoy.

Calling an x-wing a "star wars jet" is unforgivable.

infinite zest - 2014-04-07

Yeah I know.. sorry :)

yogarfield - 2014-04-07

I've read the book and watched the video-film. I just happen to live under a harsh regime where there is no reverence for anything. X, Y, and B wings look like IUD's to me. A-wings are space Cameros, and Chewbacca is "that big hairy nigga with the dumb belt".

SolRo - 2014-04-07

Well x-wings do fly like they're jets in an atmosphere.

Porkins might still be alive if he flew his star wars jet like they did in BSG

EvilHomer - 2014-04-08

In fairness to Porkins, Starbuck was a Mormon Space-God. She could pull tactical 180s without losing forward velocity and frak the shit out of any toaster stupid enough to get on her six because she was frakking STARBUCK; I'd have a hard time imaging any joker from Star Wars nailing those sort of moves, except Yoda, HK-47, Boba Fett, and possibly Hondo.

ashtar. - 2014-04-08

wrong movie, the x-wing is what the x-men call their plane

fedex - 2014-04-07

wow

Old_Zircon - 2014-04-07

"Classic profile" my ass. Boomer is in a class by himself.

Boomer The Dog - 2014-04-07

Friends have taken issue with that 'classic profile' comment too, saying you were a Dog before people heard of Furries. I think that the news wants a brief way to relate it to some kind of group, and maybe that makes it feel more connected or safe.

I enjoy the Furry scene, it's creative and I have some cool friends there, plus I have my Dog costume and other Furry-related things. I think that for most Furs it's a social scene, where I have more baggage, being a woof woof is my life and personality.

Everyone should have a specialty!

Was a reply to yogarfield.

yogarfield - 2014-04-07

I got you baby. One of my favorite characters in TV. I know the opinion might be unpopular here, but I'm a little sad that he's going to be the "medical practitioner on that old show for limey virgins". Still, Capaldi will always be a G in my book.

Bort - 2014-04-08

I'm guessing they know what they're doing. Tell me you wouldn't like the Doctor to deliver exactly this speech to Davros:

EvilHomer - 2014-04-07

Hey Boomer, if you're reading this, do you happen to have any pictures of Pyrenean Shepherds in this kind of pose:

http://www.gloucester.nsw.gov.au/Images/UserUploadedImages/115 /dreamstime_6065810.jpg

If not barking, then at least with his head at that angle?

yogarfield - 2014-04-07

I smell a painting coming on.

Boomer The Dog - 2014-04-07

Don't listen to Yogarfield, I officially know nothing.. :)

I searched the drives here and found a few, and put them in this zip file.

http://boomerthedog.com/homer-pyrenean-shepherds.zip

Some are facing the other way but you could flop them. I'm doing this fast, but I'll try to get some more from other drives I have. I put Here's Boomer in there for reference to my looks as well.

Pyrenean Shepherds have a pretty wide variety of looks compared to some other Dogs, here's Wikipedia about them for reference:

Good luck on that Pony desktop you're looking for.

Boomer

yogarfield - 2014-04-08

Boomer, I just have to say that you're pretty awesome.

Here is a picture of my dog. He's a pretty cool guy.

(Ignore his boner.)

EvilHomer - 2014-04-08

Cool, thanks Boomer!

And yogar, "(ignore his boner)" is a great way to introduce your dog. I nearly choked on my breakfast from that one!

Boomer The Dog - 2014-04-08

That is funny Yogar, so of course anyone would look.. ;)

Your Dog is cool, is he a breed or mutt, he looks like a Spitz, Shepherd and Collie, that's my take. I can see him going right over to that pole and lifting a leg on it.

Boomer

yogarfield - 2014-04-08

He's a mutt, and a rescue so there's no way of really knowing what he is. My best guess is American Eskimo / Chow, but definitely some mix from the Spitz fam. All white, black tongue.

And yes, he pissed up and down that pole.

Rodents of Unusual Size - 2014-04-07

Now that Bill O'Reilly is making fun of furries, it will never be cool again.

Are you reading this Boomer? You win forever.

Boomer The Dog - 2014-04-07

I'm reading, just happened to swing by and catch it. Thank you Rodent, rodently chewed and mouse masticated!

I guess he had never heard of Furries before. They called and interviewed me for that, the producer had seen other stuff I was doing, and we woofed for a half hour I think, and I sent them to my site and videos. I had to adjust my tie for that interview, I mean, the O'Reilly Factor.. :)

A vote for at least doubling the number of videos shown on the front page, though if you guys like it for your posting style, then it's okay.

Boomer

EvilHomer - 2014-04-08

Did they actually get you live on the show, or was this it?

Boomer The Dog - 2014-04-08

They didn't have me live, just a phone interview, and when I pointed them to my sites, and they liked the scooter video that my friends had taken just before that.

The segment was later in the show, I guess they'd been doing hard politics and wanted something light.

The joke was about the animal shelter worker in Shaggy DA, he got a call from the governor, and he adjusted his tie, even though he was on the phone.

Boomer

That guy - 2014-04-08

I will take Boomer's side over Bill O'Reilly, and that is the lowest compliment I can imagine giving someone.

betabox - 2014-04-08

Boomer, you continue to inspire us all.

Boomer The Dog - 2015-06-28

Aw man, the video is gone now. I wish people treated the internet more like a hard archive, historical, rather than removing so much. PoE Red too..
