Forget it Louie, it's the Actor's Studio.

Ha!

HA!

Jet Bin Fever - 2014-03-21

Louis underestimates the power and influence of Sean Penn.

boner - 2014-03-21

This can't be.

Raggamuffin - 2014-03-21

I feel like this is the kind of thing that would only happen to Louis C.K.

i can't believe how great and perfect this is. Also that's my favorite song ever. one of the only fun scenes of that movie

Binro the Heretic - 2014-03-21

I had to look up Bradley Cooper. Apparently, I have seen movies he was in, but still really don't know who he is.

He's apparently one of the guys from the "Hangover" movies who's not Zack Galifanakis and he was the guy from "Silver Linings Playbook" which was good and all, but I can think of a lot of other actors who would have been just as good in it. It was a great script and had a great director and supporting cast. You'd have to be Keanu-level bad to fuck something like that up.

So, yeah, I guess he proved Louis wrong in the sense that he's popular. Really, though he's got generic good looks and he's a competent actor. It's not like success was all that unattainable for him.

Still, this WAS funny.

Grandmaster Funk - 2014-03-21

Also, Bradley Cooper wasn't asking "Durhur, how can I be super famous?" He was asking like, some super smart acting question or some shit.

takewithfood - 2014-03-21

That's a spot-on impression of Louis CK, too.

chairsforcheap - 2014-03-21

you can tell they had fun with that

I like how the media's making a big deal out of this. CK doesn't mention Cooper directly, and I'm assuming 95% of the time he's probably right: they don't become famous accomplished film actors. A few years ago I saw Cooper as nothing more than another heartthrob starring in shitty romcoms who would fade into oblivion as soon as his looks started to fade.

Then came Silver Linings Playbook, and it was like "woah this guy can actually act!" I haven't seen American Hustle, but hear it's good (I like David O Russell in general).

Plus the interview, although it mentions Sean Penn, was in 2009, and Penn won best actor for Milk that year. So he was kind of the likely target when speaking about actors in general. CK would have had to have memorized nearly every episode of Inside the Actors Studio to have remembered that it was Cooper who asked Penn the question.

Still this was funny

That guy - 2014-03-25

99% of the time he's right, even if it's only The Actors' Studio as a sample set.

That guy - 2014-03-25

Terrible acting, 1:01-1:05
