Despite what I see as a pretty good set of business and hiring ethics, I really don't like American Apparel. for a hoodie I can find for at any good will.. some of the girls' clothes are cute, but still way overpriced, and the anorexic teenage models don't help.

infinite zest - 2014-03-11 Yeah I buy used vintage AA stuff all the time when I see it, because it's back to a 5 dollar hoodie, and their X-Smalls hoodie size fits me really well, because it's TALL (a lot of clothing manufacturers seem to think that nobody over 6'2 would wear X-small.. I dunno)..
And ironically it's usually from a vintage store, across the street from ANOTHER vintage store, BOTH OF WHICH ARE LESS THAN 2 BLOCKS FROM THE AMERICAN APPAREL! And the American Apparel is still packed.

oddeye - 2014-03-11 I literally don't give a flying fuck what I look like, where my clothes come from or even if they don't really fit. I have worn the same clothes for pretty much my entire adult life and I wear some of them for weeks between washes which I only do on the insistence of my wife. My oldest pair of underwear that I still wear was bought from a chain store that closed it's doors in the UK. They resemble ripped-up assless chaps.

StanleyPain - 2014-03-11 In my city, they opened one of these literally a few doors down from one of the best known and iconic local second-hand clothes stores in an area of town known for it's complete disdain for corporate stores. I've never seen more than a few people in there at any one time and I can't imagine they're very successful.
